Draper Town Center Station Area Plan

The Draper Town Center Station Area Planning process is nearing completion. In collaboration with the project Stakeholder Committee, the team has developed a Preferred Concept and Draft Plan with a vision and five-year implementation plan for areas within ½ mile of the Draper Town Center TRAX Station. This plan will be presented in a final Public Open House on Thursday, February 20, at the Draper City Hall Council Chambers from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

The Preferred Concept incorporates a range of ideas from the alternative concepts presented to the community in May 2023, as well as feedback received about these alternatives.

The recent Utah House Bill 462 requires all Utah rail transit station areas to have a plan and achieve a set of core objectives: increase the availability and affordability of housing, promote sustainable environmental conditions, enhance access to opportunities, and increase transportation choices and connections. This creates a great opportunity for the community of Draper to continue to shape and develop its Town Center area while achieving these larger regional goals and preserving and enhancing Draper’s quality of life. The plan will continue to balance the needs of all stakeholders and will seek to capitalize on the best opportunities for the area.
