2024 General Election Information

General Election Day is November 5, 2024. Vote-by-mail ballots for Salt Lake County and Utah County are expected to be mailed to registered voters the week of October 14. 

Salt Lake County Voters

The following information is from the Salt Lake County Clerk’s office:

  • Due to the number of contests and candidates, the ballot for this election will be two pages. We ask voters to return both pages, regardless of how many contests they vote on. More information on this can be found on our ballot info page.

  • Voters may look up their ballot using our voter lookup tool, or view all election ballots here.

  • Drop box locations may be found here.

  • Early Voter centers may be found here.

  • Election Day vote centers may be found here.

Important dates include:

    • October 11 – Logic and Accuracy Demonstration at the Salt Lake County Government Center, 10 AM. This is open to the public. Logic & Accuracy tests verify that voting machines and tabulation equipment work correctly before Election Day.
    • October 15 – ballots mailed to all active, registered voters
    • October 22 – Early Voting begins at the Salt Lake County Government Center
    • October 25 – last day to register and receive a by-mail ballot
    • October 29 – last day to request a replacement by-mail ballot
    • October 29 – Early Voting opens at additional locations
    • November 4 – all ballots returned via USPS must be postmarked no later than this day
    • November 5 – Election Day

Utah County Voters

Utah County residents in Draper should visit the Utah County Elections Division website for voting and drop box locations, registration, and ballot and candidate information.

Draper voters who live in Utah County will see Prop #11 listed on their ballots.

 A “YES” vote on Prop 11 supports the creation of a new school district, a new school board, a budget, programs, and resources.

A “NO” vote on Prop 11 opposes the creation of a new school district, a new school board, a budget, programs, and resources.
