Dumpster Rental
The dumpster rental program is intended for residential use only. Residents, neighborhood associations, homeowners associations, and volunteer groups located in Draper City may also use this program. Availability of dumpsters varies throughout the year and there may be a wait until time slots are available.
Dumpster Rental Agreement - Complete and Return
The following restrictions apply:
- Residents are limited to one (1) dumpster rental up to three (3) times per calendar year.
- HOAs and other Draper groups are limited to Monday delivery only and are limited to no more than four (4) dumpster rentals at a time, up to two (2) times per calendar year.
Two sizes of dumpsters are available:
- 20-yard – $120 rental fee (16’ L X 6’ H X 8’ W, weight limit 6 tons).
- 30-yard – $150 rental fee (22' L X 6’ H X 8’ W, weight limit 10 tons).

Dumpsters may be used for yard debris such as tree limbs, shrubbery, grass clippings, etc., as well as building materials, household items, some appliances, and furniture (limit of three mattresses).
Items that are not acceptable are toxic, hazardous, or flammable materials (pesticides, herbicides, solvents, chemicals, paints, motor oil, gasoline), asbestos, dead animals, liquid loads, firearms or explosives, tires, batteries, freezers and refrigerators, and metal or plastic drums (unless the tops are cut off). Violators may be responsible for additional costs related to the dumping of prohibited materials. Visit Salt Lake County Household Hazardous Waste Division for information about safe disposal. If concrete, dirt, or rock materials are deposited in the dumpster, it can only be filled one-third full. Overweight dumpsters will be partially emptied at pick-up time until they meet the maximum transport weight (20-yard - 6 tons, 30-yard - 10 tons). Please do not overfill dumpsters above the rim. Residents will be required to clean up any spillage.
Cancellations must be made at least five (5) days before the delivery date to get a refund.
