Pie Baking Contest
Come show off your baking skills with a delicious pie and win a prize!
Pie drop-off and judging occur at the south pavilion at Draper Park on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Pie drop-off starts at 11:30 AM, and judging begins at 12:30 PM.
Pre-register online or in person at the contest. There is no fee to participate.
Categories, cash prizes, & awards:
- One Crust -- Best in Show 1st Place
$100 + award
- One Crust -- Best in Show 2nd Place
$50 + award
- Two Crust -- Best in Show 1st Place
$100 + award
- Two Crust -- Best in Show 2nd Place
$50 + award
- Mayor’s Choice
$50 + award
- Royalty’s Choice
$50 + award
Rules:
- A pie can receive more than one award.
- Pies must be homemade from scratch.
- Participants must provide a recipe that includes a list of ingredients.
- Pies should be dropped off in a nine-inch disposable pan contained in a plastic bag, or covered with a lid.
- Pie drop off at 11:30 AM.
- Only one pie can be entered per contestant.
Judging:
· Judging occurs at 12:30 PM, and the winners are announced immediately.
· Judging will be blind with pies identified by number only.
· Pie bakers must be present to win.
· The decision of the Contest Judges is final.
