Corner Canyon 5K, 10K, Half Marathon

The Draper City Corner Canyon Half Marathon, 10K and 5K will be held Saturday, September 21 at 7:00 AM. It begins and ends at the Andy Ballard Arena. Run mainly through Corner Canyon and the surrounding area on the dirt trail system, it will pass by attractions such as Ghost Falls, the silica pit, and crossing the Bear Canyon Suspension Bridge. Along the way, runners may encounter some of the Canyon's local wildlife, and enjoy the beauty of the area's fall colors. 

Participants will receive a souvenir goodie bag, event tee shirt, race bib with timing chip, access to race photos, and a finishers medal.

Packets can be picked up September 19 and 20, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM at the Parks and Recreation offices (12354 S 800 E), or on race day beginning at 5:30 AM at the Ballard Arena.

A professional photographer will be positioned on the course taking photos of each runner. Bibs should be worn on the front, uncovered and in clear view, to help the photographer capture your bib number in the photos. A link will be placed on this page for easy access and download.

Several aid stations will be available along the route offering water, sports drinks, and snacks.

The cut-off time for this event is four hours. Event staff — including finish line and trail marshals — are withdrawn after four hours.

These events are not possible without the help of community volunteers. Each volunteer receives an event T-shirt, and the opportunity to meet great people and have fun in a beautiful setting. To volunteer, or for additional information, email us.
