Tree Committee
"Promoting Community Education & Oversight, Expertise & Care for the Trees of Draper"
The Draper Tree Committee is a group of residents who volunteer their time to serve Draper City. The members are very involved in the environmental aspect of our community. They meet monthly with members of Draper City Parks and other departments as necessary about city projects. The Tree Committee members are approved by the Draper City Council for four years. The members are available for consultation and advice in the planting and care of trees. All are very knowledgeable in this area.

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 8 AM.
Draper City has been recognized as a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation. Through the ongoing efforts of the Parks Department and the Tree Committee, Arbor Day is recognized with the planting of trees in selected locations throughout the city. The Tree Committee also participates in Earth Day which is sponsored by the city. Draper City is a participant with Tree Utah which, through its foundation, offers grants for trees.
