Draper City Ranked #25 Best Places to Live

DRAPER, Utah. Draper City was just named in the Top 25 Best Places to Live by Money Magazine. Each city is ranked on how the economy is doing, and whether or not they are a great place to raise a family. They look closely at education, green space and whether or not the town has a strong sense of community. Draper City scored high in each of these categories and ranked #25. Money Magazine specifically looks at small town across America.

“I am so very pleased to see that Draper has made it into the “Top 25 Best Places to Live” ranking by Money Magazine. We have strived to plan our growth to bring in the right kind of businesses to compliment the residents that make Draper their home. eBay recently built a campus in Draper and added 1,800 new jobs. We will open two new light rail transit stations this week, giving citizens access to public transportation along the entire Wasatch Front. Draper is safe, it is a great place to raise a family. Just this week, the Corner Canyon High School will open as Draper’s first public high school and Draper Park Middle School will open up as the first public middle school in town. Both schools offer state-of-the art campuses for first-class education. And on top of that, Draper has 90+ city and canyon trails that are minutes away. The city owns 1,800 acres in Corner Canyon and recently purchased 2,200 acres in SunCrest, most of which will be set aside as open space for trails and recreational opportunities in the Wasatch front mountain range that circles the city,”says lifetime community member Mayor Darrell H. Smith.

Draper City encourages the residents of the Wasatch Front to click on the link below and vote for Draper as a fan favorite.
