Reconstruction has been scheduled for Traverse Ridge Road from Highland Drive to Traverse Point Drive. Construction work is expected to begin the night of August 12th and be completed the second week of September, pending the weather or other unforeseen conditions.
To minimize impacts on daytime traffic flows, construction work will generally take place at night, from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am. There will be noise associated with the removal of the roadway and the placement of new concrete and asphalt paving. Some limited daytime lane closures are also planned and the speed limit will be reduced through the construction zone throughout the construction period. It is the city's intent to minimize impact and complete the project as quickly as possible.
