[ARCHIVED] Road Construction Projects in Draper City

The city has hired a contractor to install a storm drain pipe under the canal on 13800 South (just east of 300 East). This work will start on Monday, March 3rd, and will last for approximately three weeks (March 3 – March 20). During this time the traffic for a small section of 13800 S will be controlled with flaggers and/or a temporary traffic signal to allow alternating one-way traffic. Additionally, the intersection of Arrow Creek Drive and 13800 South will be closed to accommodate this construction. Motorists are advised to avoid this area during this construction window, as traffic delays are expected.

Additionally, Water Pro is currently installing a new water line in 13800 South from approximately 300 East to Bangerter Pkwy. This project should be completed by the end of March. Only minor traffic delays are expected through Water Pro’s construction area, as they will keep one lane in each direction open to the public. Both projects will be worked on concurrently. For more information on these projects, call Todd Hammond at (801) 576-6336.
