DRAPER CITY NOTICE OF ELECTION:
The Mayor’s seat and two City Council seats will be open in the 2017 Draper City Municipal Election. Each Council seat is at-large for a 4-year term. Persons interested in becoming a candidate for office must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person with the City Recorder, 1020 East Pioneer Road, Draper, from June 1, 2017, to June 7, 2017, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
To qualify as a candidate for a municipal office, you must be a registered voter and be a resident of Draper for 12 consecutive months prior to the election. The primary election, if needed, will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017. The general election will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017.
