For those homeowners who live in the Hickory Ridge neighborhood who were affected by the fire, Draper City has sandbags available at the Ballard Equestrian Center located at 1600 East Highland Dr. (13675 South). Draper Public Works has delivered three pallets of sandbags in the upper parking lot and two truckloads of sand and bags for residents to fill their own bags.
Please be aware that the month of August typically brings summer rain/hail storms. At times these storms can be fast and furious in Draper and could possibly cause flooding or mudslides.
The land behind the homes in Hickory Ridge is owned by the U.S. Forest Service and by an HOA.
