A fire erupted in the eastern foothills of Draper around 2:30 am. The fire is burning in the area above Highland Drive between Pioneer Road and Ellerbeck Lane. Thirty-nine homes have been evacuated. Crews from Unified Fire Authority are battling the fire. An evacuation center has been set up at the Ballard Equestrian Center, located at 1600 E. Highland Dr. (13675 S.)
