DRAPER, Utah. Yesterday the Utah Supreme Court decided that the residents within the Traverse Ridge Special District (TRSSD) have the right to refer the adoption of the TRSSD’s annual budget and certified tax rate to a vote in the November 2014 general election. The Supreme Court’s direction was that only those residents who live in the TRSSD area will be voting on this issue.
Draper City respects the decision of the Supreme Court and will fully cooperate in getting this matter before the voters in November.
The ballot language will read as follows:
PROPOSITION NUMBER 2
Shall Traverse Ridge Special Service
District Resolution #14-02, which adopted
the Traverse Ridge Special District Budget
and Certified Tax Rate for the Fiscal Year
2014-2015, be repealed?
