Draper City’s garbage and recycling drivers have been ready and waiting at the public works building and checking in with the snow plow drivers to see if it’s clear enough to go out on their Wednesday routes. It has been determined that it is too dangerous to drive the trucks safely through neighborhoods so garbage service will be delayed.
For the remainder of the week all routes will be delayed by one day. If your regular pick up is Wednesday, it will be picked up on Thursday, Thursday will be picked up on Friday, and Friday will be picked up on Saturday.
If you have cans out today, please bring them in if possible to assist plows with clearing the area.
If further adjustments need to be made due to continued hazardous conditions, we will provide an update.
