The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority achieved several major milestones at The Point in 2022. Here’s a quick look back:

• Released several detailed studies that outlined world-leading strategies for sustainability, economic opportunity, and mobility. 

• Acted to preserve the prison chapel and select a development partner. 

• Released a statewide survey to gather feedback from Utahns about an iconic feature for the site.

• Started demolition of the decades-old prison facilities.
