Draper City Parks crews have been busy collecting downed tree limbs in City-maintained areas following the big New Year storm. We know that home and business owners have also had this issue, so Draper City is providing a disposal area at East Galena Park (12500 S. Vista Station - on the far east side near the railroad tracks). Residents may drop off limbs/branches there and our parks department will dispose of them as they are able. Reminder - tree debris is the responsibility of the homeowner/property owner. Draper City cannot respond to clear debris from private property, and debris should not be left in gutters or outside of cans for curbside garbage pickup.
Finally, we ask for your patience as crews are working to catch up with plowing sidewalks adjacent to city property following the additional help needed with road plowing and hazards such as the fallen tree limbs.
With more snow in the forecast tomorrow, please plan for off-street snow parking. We appreciate your cooperation and help given to neighbors who need assistance with snow removal or parking.
