[ARCHIVED] Draper City Animal Services Reminder

Animal Services Reminder

All animals need to stay on your property at all times, unless you are walking them on a leash, including cats. Draper City Animal Services no longer issues warnings for residents walking pets without leashes, and residents will receive citations for this infraction.

Be respectful and remember to bag your pet’s waste and dispose of it in a trash can.

All dogs are required to be licensed by the age of four months, or within 30 days of moving within Draper City (cats do not need to be licensed). Bring in or mail a copy of your dog’s current rabies certificate to Draper Animal Services or Draper City Hall Finance Department.

License fees:

  • $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog license
  • $20.00 for an unaltered dog license
  • $10.00 for a senior’s lifetime spayed or neutered
