[ARCHIVED] Road Maintenance - Slurry Seal Street Closures

Road CLOSURE Alert 1080x608

Draper City has contracted with Morgan Pavement for the resurfacing of some neighborhood streets using the Slurry Seal process. This is a preventative measure to maintain asphalt and slow deterioration. It requires the road to be completely closed and restricted from parking and driving on for a period of time, so residents need to be aware and plan accordingly.

Affected residents should receive a door notice from the contractor a couple days ahead of the work. Please review this information thoroughly and find a street nearby that will not be closed to park vehicles on that will be used during the closure. Please make sure to turn sprinklers off the day of the work for 24 hours to prevent damage to the treatment.

We will post maps to affected streets below as we receive them from the contractor. Work is scheduled to begin September 7 and be completed by October 1. Weather and other factors can affect scheduling. We will provide updates if changes occur.

We appreciate your cooperation as we complete this necessary maintenance.
