The declaration of candidacy period for the 2021 Municipal Election is August 10-17. Seats up for election in Draper City are mayor and two seats for city council.
Here is some info about the process.
- Candidates must file in person at the city recorder's office between 8 AM and 5 PM during the filing period (excluding Saturday and Sunday). Plan on spending about 15 minutes there.
- There is no filing fee.
- The city recorder will review the candidate guide, deadlines, financial disclosures, answer any questions you have, and administer your Declaration of Candidacy.
