Public Hearing: Siempre at South Mountain Site Plan (Administrative Action)

Approved

On the request of Randall Deschamps, representing Siempre LLC for approval of a Site Plan for approximately 8.99 acres located on the north side of Mike Weir Dr., at approximately 1247 E Mike Weir Dr. The property is currently zoned C2 and RM. The applicant is requesting that a Site Plan be approved to allow for the development of an Event Center next to the existing South Mountain Golf Course Clubhouse.

Public Hearing: City Initiated Chickens for Familial Gain Text Amendment (Legislative Item)

Positive recommendation forwarded to the City Council

On the request of Draper City for approval of a Text Amendment to Draper City Municipal Code Sections 9-3-040, 9-9-080, 9-10-090, and 9-27-055. The applicant is requesting that a Text Amendment be approved to adjust, or eliminate the number of chickens allowed in certain zones, and for additional clarifying updates to the text. The proposal seeks to remove the current allowance of chickens in the RM1 and RM2 zones, and in other residential and agricultural zones to tie the number of chickens allowed for familial gain to the size of the property.
