Amending Draper City Municipal Code Pertaining to Sewage Disposal: APPROVED
This ordinance reflects changes that were made in the United States Code of Federal Regulations related to the Clean Water Act and the Utah Administrative Code related to the Utah Clean Water Act. Our current code reflects previous versions of these administrative codes. The revisions proposed in this ordinance will square our code up with the new federal and state regulations. The South Valley Sewer District provides sanitary sewer facilities and services to all of the residents and businesses within Draper City. The South Valley Sewer District has asked the city to pass this ordinance by January 19.

Siempre Event Center Development Agreement: APPROVED
On the request of Paxton Guymon, representing Siempre LLC for approval of a Development Agreement on approximately 1.36 acres located at approximately 1283 E Mike Weir Dr. The property is currently zoned C2 and RM and is the site of the South Mountain Golf Course. The applicant is requesting that a Development Agreement be approved to allow for: 1) A reduction in the number of spaces required in the 1990 Draper City Municipal Code, and 2) Twenty (20) of the proposed parking spaces to be constructed of geo-grass pavers to accommodate over flow parking for the site. The applicant has a separate Site Plan application for a new events center. The site plan will be heard by the Planning Commission pending a decision by the City Council on the proposed Development Agreement. The Planning Commission forwarded a positive recommendation to the City Council on the request.
City Initiated Parking Ordinance Changes Text Amendment: APPROVED
On the request of Draper City for approval of a Text Amendment to DCMC Sections 9-25-030, 9-25-060, and 9-25-080. The applicant is requesting that a Text Amendment be approved to address the accessibility and availability of parking spaces including changes to clarify that access lanes, drive aisles, stacking lanes, queue spaces, or other similar encumbrances may not impact continued access to and from parking stalls. The Planning Commission forwarded a positive recommendation to the City Council on the request, with a few recommended modifications.
Amending the Current Fiscal Year Budget FY2021: APPROVED
Request by Draper City to amend the budget for updates to staffing, the water system master plan, and various road work.
