Public Hearing: Lot 27 Oak Vista No. 1 at Suncrest Plat Amendment Request (Administrative Action): ITEM APPROVED
On the request of Adam Breen, representing Breen Homes, for approval of a Plat Amendment on approximately 0.47 acres located at 14812 S Oak Bluff Place. The property is currently zoned RM, as established through the 1999 Draper City Municipal Code (1999 DCMC) and the Suncrest Master Development Agreement. The applicant is requesting that a Plat Amendment and deviation from 1999 DCMC Section 9-15-040(a) be approved to allow the placement of a new single-family dwelling outside the approved buildable area by moving the limit of disturbance and allowing construction within a portion of the slope that is steeper than 30%.
Public Hearing: Siempre Event Center Development Agreement (Legislative Action): ITEM APPROVED
On the request of Paxton Guymon, representing Siempre LLC for approval of a Development Agreement on approximately 1.36 acres located at approximately 1283 E Mike Weir Dr. The property is currently zoned C2 and RM and is the site of the South Mountain Golf Course. The applicant is requesting that a Development Agreement be approved to allow for: 1) A reduction in the number of spaces required in the 1990 Draper City Municipal Code, and 2) Twenty (20) of the proposed parking spaces to be constructed of geo-grass pavers to accommodate over flow parking for the site. The applicant has a separate Site Plan application for a new events center. The site plan will be heard by the Planning Commission pending a decision by the City Council on the proposed Development Agreement.
Public Hearing: City Initiated Windsor Mill Zoning Map and Land Use Map Amendment Request (Legislative Item): ITEM APPROVED
On the request of Draper City, for approval of a Zoning Map and Land Use Map Amendment for approximately 0.29 acres located at approximately 11450 S 820 W. The property is currently zoned RA2. The applicant is requesting that the property be rezoned from the RA2 zone to the RM1 zone and the land use map be amended from Residential Low/Medium Density to Residential Medium/High Density. This will correct an error that has been found in the legal description used during the 2009 rezone of the property from RA2 to RM1, which inadvertently left 0.29 acres of out of the rezone.
Public Hearing: City Initiated Parking Ordinance Changes Text Amendment (Legislative Item): ITEM APPROVED
On the request of Draper City for approval of a Text Amendment to DCMC Sections 9-25-030, 9-25-060, and 9-25-080. The applicant is requesting that a Text Amendment be approved to address the accessibility and availability of parking spaces including changes to clarify that access lanes, drive aisles, stacking lanes, queue spaces, or other similar encumbrances may not impact continued access to and from parking stalls.
Public Hearing: City Initiated Land Use Buffer Text Amendment (Legislative Item): ITEM APPROVED
On the request of Draper City for approval of a Text Amendment to Draper City Municipal Code Sections 9-23-110 and 9-3-040. The applicant is requesting that a Text Amendment be approved to amend fencing requirements and other aspects of land use buffers for commercial, multifamily and industrial properties.
Public Hearing: City Initiated Chickens for Familial Gain Text Amendment (Legislative Item): ITEM APPROVED
This item is continued to January 28, 2021, and will be supplemented by other amendments to Title 9 regarding fowl for family food production.
