These beginning classes explore mindfulness - paying attention to the present moment - as a means to learn how to respond rather than react to one's emotional experiences. We'll also practice healthy habits of mind including kindness, nonjudgment and gratitude. With practice, mindfulness can be a creative approach to managing everyday stresses.
