Rasmussen Family Commercial Zoning Map Amendment: NEGATIVE RECOMMENDATION FORWARDED TO CITY COUNCIL

On the request of One West Construction, representing Rasmussen Family Limited Partnership, for approval of a zoning map amendment for approximately 9.81 acres located at approximately 12197 South 300 East. The site has a land use designation of Neighborhood Commercial and is currently zoned A5. The applicant is requesting to rezone the entire property from A5 to CN. The subject property has historically been utilized as agricultural or farming land since at least 1978 when the city incorporated.

Rockwell Point Text Amendment: POSITIVE RECOMMENDATION FORWARDED TO CITY COUNCIL

On the request of Todd Amberry representing Rockwell Point, LLC for approval of a zoning text amendment that would apply citywide to all properties with the Major Freeway Arterial Frontage Road (MARF) zoning designation. This request is to modify the permitted uses in the zoning district. The MARF zoning district was adopted by the City Council in August 2019. The applicant is proposing to change four uses from ‘not permitted’ to ‘permitted’. Those four uses are: car wash, convenience store, gasoline service station, and restaurant. No other changes are proposed to the zoning district. All development standards will remain unchanged.

Draper APA Subdivision 2nd Plat Amendment: APPROVED

On the request of Tim Evancich and Bruce Baird, representing Utah Chapter Academies, Inc. for approval of a Plat Amendment for approximately 19.97 acres located on the west side of Lone Peak Parkway, at approximately 267 West 11915 South. The property is currently zoned R3. The applicant is requesting that a Plat Amendment be approved to allow a modification to the southern boundary line of the subdivision in order to comply with a court order that set the location of the boundary line. No improvements or changes to the site are proposed.

City Initiated Notice of Continued Item Text Amendment: POSITIVE RECOMMENDATION FORWARDED TO CITY COUNCIL

On the request of Draper City for approval of a Text Amendment to Draper City Municipal Code Sections 9-5-045 and 17-1-085. The applicant is requesting that a Text Amendment be approved clarifying that a new notice is not required to be provided for items that are continued to future meetings after the public hearing has been closed.
