The Draper Police Department presented a small gift to Megan Pace, and her daughter, Shianne, for their assistance in finding an elderly woman who had been reported missing. Draper Police Chief John Eining recognized them as outstanding citizens for being alert, and taking proactive action when they saw something that did not seem right.
On October 4, 2020, Megan and Shianne were driving in town when they spotted an elderly woman outside during their drive. Three hours later, they happened to drive by her again, but in a spot that was far away from the original sighting. Megan thought it was odd and turned around to offer her a ride.
The elderly woman willingly accepted, but was not able to provide an address or information. Megan knew something was wrong so drove her straight to the Draper Police Department where many first responders had congregated to begin the search for the elderly woman who had been reported missing that day.
