Grayson Cove Plat Amendment Request (Administrative Action): APPROVED
On the request of Paul Davis, for approval of a Plat Amendment for approximately 0.468 acres located at 13187 S. Grayson View Cove. The property is currently zoned RA2 (Single Family Residential, 20,000 square foot lot minimum) and is part of the Grayson Cove subdivision. The subject property was platted on January 20, 2017 as part of the Grayson Cove subdivision. The original Grayson Cove subdivision application was approved by the City Council on July 5, 2016. The approved subdivision was for seven lots all located on a single cul-de-sac. This application is a request to modify a detention pond located on Lot 1 of that subdivision.
Draper Cove Phase 2 Plat Amendment (Administrative Action): APPROVED
On the request of Chris Smith, for approval of a Plat Amendment for approximately 0.43 acres located on the northeast corner of 800 East and Pioneer Road, at approximately 12391 South 800 East. The property is currently zoned TC (Town Center). The applicant is requesting that a Plat Amendment be approved to allow for two parcels to be combined into one.
Music Day Academy Home Occupation Conditional Use Permit (Administrative Action): APPROVED
On the request of Sherstine Stephens for approval of a Home Occupation Conditional Use Permit (HOCUP) for approximately 0.23 acres located at approximately 621 E Cougar Ridge Road. The property is currently zoned RSD-5-Bellevue (Residential Special District Bellevue) and the home was constructed in 2007. The applicant is requesting that a HOCUP be approved to allow for private piano lessons in a single-family home.
University Federal Credit Union Amended Site Plan (Administrative Action): APPROVED
On the request of John Wetendorf, representing BGW Architects for approval of a Site Plan Amendment for approximately 0.89 acres located on the north side of 12300 South, at approximately 811 East. The property is currently zoned CN (Neighborhood Commercial). The applicant is requesting that a Site Plan Amendment be approved to allow for an exterior remodel of the existing credit union building and a parking lot expansion.
City Initiated 2020 Q3 Bulk Text Amendment Request (Legislative Action): APPROVED
On the request of Draper City for approval of a Text Amendment in order to modify the development access point requirements and reduce or eliminate the requirement for paper submissions with applications. The City has been reviewing the question about how to ensure that developments have the proper number of access points for ingress and egress and what those access points should look like. The City posted a Notice of Intent to amend the code back in March of 2020 in anticipation of these changes. After spending the last few months reviewing the issue, Staff has prepared the attached Text Amendments. In addition, this request includes some minor code changes that eliminate, or reduce, the amount of paper submissions. With City Hall being closed to the public due to Covid-19, the City has moved to paperless submissions. The text amendment would eliminate, or reduce, the requirement for paper in the Draper City Municipal Code (DCMC) allowing the city to continue accepting paperless applications.

Quick Quack Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit Approval Extension (Administrative Action): APPROVED
On the request of Dallas Hakes, representing QQUV Investments 3, LLC, for an extension of approval for the Quick Quack Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit. The Planning Commission approved a Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit for a new Quick Quack located at 154 East 13800 South on October 24, 2019. That approval is set to expire on October 24, 2020. This request will provide the applicant an additional 6-months until the approvals expire.
