Draper City is currently accepting applications for the city’s new Draper City Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board. The board will act as a liaison to the city to identify issues faced by diverse groups and create opportunities for an inclusive community within the city.
“It was important for our city to bring thought leaders together in our community to discuss issues related to diversity, equality and inclusion within the city,” said Draper Mayor Troy Walker. “We are looking to the board to help the city cultivate an inclusive culture and provide opportunities to educate about and celebrate various cultures and diverse groups.”
The board will consist of up to nine members and will meet quarterly or as the Chair deems necessary. Any Draper resident is welcome to apply. To apply, visit https://www.draper.ut.us/FormCenter/Boards--Commissions-Applications-5/General-Boards-and-Commissions-Applicati-38.
