The Jordan River Commission, in partnership with the State of Utah through the Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands, is offering a $2 per pound bounty for the removal of puncturevine (Tribulus terrestris), also known as “goathead.”
This noxious weed has sharp burs that punch bicycle tires and hands, feet, and paws of humans and pets. Pounds will be rounded to the nearest whole number.
This program is only available to formally recognized entities under the State of Utah, including but not limited to, corporations, businesses, nonprofits, and recognized school groups. Participants must register under the link below before participating. All weights must be verified by the Jordan River Commission before payment is made. Payment will be made via check.
