Work began this week to widen and reconstruct Highland Drive to five lanes from Minuteman Drive to Bangerter Parkway. Drivers will notice a new traffic pattern with temporary striping in place while the north roadway is rebuilt, which is anticipated to be completed by the beginning of August. Once the north half is complete, traffic will move to the newly constructed portion while the south portion is built, which is anticipated to be completed by mid-September.
Please note that the dedicated right lane from eastbound Highland to southbound Traverse Ridge Road will be reinstalled when the road work is finished.
