123 XD Land Use and Zoning (763 E. 12300 S.): RECEIVED A NEGATIVE RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL
Request for approval of a land use map amendment and zoning map amendment for 2.62 acres located at approximately 736 East 12300 South and 749-763 East Pioneer Road. The site has a land use designation of Neighborhood Commercial and Town Center and is currently zoned RA2. The applicant is requesting to change the land use designation for the southern portion (approximately .99 acres) of the property from Town Center to Neighborhood Commercial and to rezone the entire property from RA2 to CC, which would allow for a 45-foot tall building. A negative recommendation was made to the City Council who makes the final decision.
Holmes Homes Office Land Use and Zoning (11743 S. 700 E.): RECEIVED A POSITIVE RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL
Request for approval of a land use map amendment and zoning map amendment for 3.57 acres of property located at 11743 South 700 East. The applicant is seeking the Neighborhood Commercial land use designation and the CN (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning designation for the property. The property currently is zoned RA1 (Residential Agricultural, 40,000 square foot lots) and contains the Community Commercial land use designation. If approved, this would allow for the site to be redeveloped to commercial and office use. A positive recommendation was made to the City Council who makes the final decision.
HCA Lone Peak Hospital Amended Site Plan (State St.): APPROVED
Request for approval of a site plan for 35.98 acres located on the east side of State Street. The applicant is requesting approval of a site plan allowing for an expansion of approximately 18,920 square feet to the existing Lone Peak Hospital facility. The applicant is also requesting Draper City Municipal Code deviations for building materials. The original hospital was primarily built with EIFS as an exterior material. The applicant would like to use EIFS on the addition to match the original so the addition looks like part of the original building. An addition will not be taller than the existing hospital building.
Quality Diamond Tools Home Occupation Conditional Use Permit (12138 S. 800 E.): DENIED
Request for a home occupation conditional use permit for 0.94 acres of property located at 12138 South 800 East. This request would allow a home-based business to operate at the property, including an office, and assembly and repair, limited uses. The business has employees, business vehicles, storage and deliveries at the site. This request was denied because of the inability to control the number of large, heavy trucks making deliveries to the business.
