The Village Shoppes Site Plan Extension (527 E. 12300 S.): APPROVED
This was a request from the Wasatch Residential Group for an extension to the approval of the Village Shoppes at Day Dairy Phase II located at 527 East 12300 South. On June 27, 2019, the Planning Commission granted site plan approval for the Village Shoppes. To date, the applicant has not acquired a land disturbance permit or begun improvements to the property. As such, he is seeking a six-month extension of his site plan approval. If approved, the site plan approval will be valid through December 27, 2020.
East Point Commercial Special District Amendments (13782 S. 300 E.): RECEIVED A NEGATIVE RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL
This application is a request for approval of a land use map amendment, zoning text amendment and zoning map amendment for approximately 17.03 acres. The applicant is requesting to rezone the residential agricultural property to a newly created commercial special district called the East Point Commercial Special District (CSD-EP). The subject property is vacant and has never been developed. The proposed zoning designation would allow the site to be developed with commercial and retail development.
Alan Point Plat Amendment (865 West Alan Point Dr.): APPROVED
This application is a request for approval of a Plat Amendment for approximately 1.16 acres located at approximately 865 West Alan Point Drive. The property is currently zoned RA2 (Residential Agricultural, 20,000 square foot lot minimum) Zone. The applicant is requesting that a Plat Amendment be approved to vacate a wetlands no build area in his rear yard for future construction of a barn on his property.
Fairfield Inn & Suites Site Plan: APPROVED
This application is a request for approval of a Site Plan for approximately 3.05 acres located on the south side of Bangerter Highway, at approximately 13690 S 100 E. The property is currently zoned CO2 (Professional Office) Zone. The applicant is requesting that a Site Plan be approved to allow for the development of the currently vacant site as a hotel.
