[ARCHIVED] Recycling Has Changed in Draper

Big3Flyer_1019 FINAL

What can I put into my recycling bin in Draper City?

1. CORRUGATED CARDBOARD – This includes any size material consisting of a fluted corrugated sheet, like shipping boxes and packing boxes. Flatten all boxes and remove packaging items such as Styrofoam, peanuts, bubble wrap, and plastic liners. Do not put paperboard (cereal boxes, shoe boxes), newsprint or junk mail into the bin.

2. PLASTIC BOTTLES AND JUGS WITH A NECK – This includes water bottles and milk gallon containers. Rinse out any residue and put the cap back on. All other plastic material is considered trash. Ignore the numbers as they don’t indicate if something is recyclable. Do not put any other plastic items in the bin.

3. METAL FOOD AND BEVERAGE CANS - This includes all food and beverage cans made from aluminum or steel. Rinse out any residue. Do not put any other type of metal in the bin.
