Industrial Accident at Smith & Sons Meat Packing Plant
DRAPER, Utah. At approximately 10:54 a.m. this morning, 52-year-old Camacho Guillermo Borcequin, an employee of Smith and Sons Meat Packing Company, was killed in an industrial accident. Mr. Borcequin was operating a skid-steer loader in the back of the plant when the bucket on the skid steer became jammed in the top of a trailer. While trying to dislodge the bucket, Mr. Borcequin was crushed between the skid steer and the trailer. He died at the scene.
The Draper City Police Department, Utah Medical Examiner’s Office and OHSA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) are investigating the incident.
