Recycled Materials Report

Draper City picks up the recyclables you place in your recycling bins and delivers them to a material recovery facility (MRF) where the loads are sorted. The MRF uses a state-of-the-art sort line as well as personnel to ensure that as much recyclable material as possible is reclaimed. The sorted commodities are baled and sent to various production mills across the country to be made into new products. Glass is cleaned, dried and crushed, then sorted into various sizes ranging from pebbles to sand and even powder depending on its end market.
