Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Committee

The Draper City Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee acts as a liaison to the city to identify issues faced by diverse groups and create opportunities for an inclusive community within the city. The committee consists of 11 members who advocate and voice support for initiatives that cultivate an inclusive culture and stimulate socio-economic equality for the greater community.

This includes creating educational opportunities through guest lectures at local schools and community workshops to raise awareness of diversity, equality and inclusivity issues. The committee will also host events for the greater community to celebrate and educate the public about various cultures and diverse groups.

Mission Statement: We will foster understanding and celebration of our differences through education and events that display the diverse ideas, talents, and experiences of our community.

Meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
