Hiking Program Header

Would you like to learn about Draper City plants, animals, and trails while hiking in Corner Canyon and getting a good workout? Sign up for our Intermediate Hiking Program. With hikes averaging 4-6 miles per trip at a moderate pace, we cover a variety of trails in Corner Canyon while providing education about the vegetation, fauna, and history of the area.

Who

Anyone 14 years and older; anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Where

Participants will be emailed the location to meet on a weekly basis.

It is recommended that participants bring a backpack, two quarts of water, snacks, comfortable shoes or boots, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.

Cost

$25 per participant.

Registration

Registration opened March 23, and closes one week prior to each session. Space is limited — register early. Online registration is available, or can be done in person at the Draper City Parks and Recreation office.

Inclement Weather

Event will be held snow, rain, or shine. However, it may be cancelled or postponed due to severe weather. Check this webpage for current information or call (801) 576-6572.
