Construction Starts at The Point

Dirt started turning at The Point in March as crews began installing a major natural gas pipeline. This construction represents the culmination of years of proactive planning and signals the start of a major development milestone. In the coming months, construction will commence on the installation of water, sewer, road and utility infrastructure.

The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority anticipates construction of buildings to start as early as the end of this year. They are hiring a Director of Land Development to oversee these complex development efforts. In addition, they are working closely with the Utah Department of Transportation and the Utah Transit Authority on environmental studies of both light rail and commuter rail projects at The Point.
